Carlton and Mollie have carved out their paradise on a plot of land they call Stoney Pastures Farm located in Lancaster, Texas

When they moved to this farm the only thing there was the main house and a little guest house.  Everything else was built by them, from the ground up.  A pond was dug, added a waterfall, koi, waterplants and planted Native shrubs and grasses.  An adjoining grape arbor was added that is covered with grapes and wisteria in the spring and summer.  Next came barns, stables, stalls, and fences for the rest of our family -- the animals.

This is the original EquuSpring Horse Waterer developed by Carlton in 1983 here at Stoney Pastures.  Often imitated, never duplicated, it is now being manufactured and marketed by California Carriage and Harness.

We try to be educators and learners in many areas.  We share with you here our place in the world, what we have come to know and what we are striving to do and be.  And why we labor in all these different areas, and finally, on the animals we love and love to live with here at Stoney Pastures Farm.
