Hi and Welcome to Stoney Pastures Farm
Let us introduce ourselves.....Stoney Pastures Farm is owned by Mollie and Carlton Standish of Lancaster, Texas, just a little south of Dallas. The name, "Standish" derives from the Old English phrase, "from Stoney Pastures". Our current family consists of Friesian horses, Scotch Highland cattle, Llamas, miniature Sicilian donkeys, Newfoundland and Parson Jack Russell dogs, and an assortment of felines. We have in the past been extremely active with Arabian horses and Leonberger dogs. We are, and have always considered ourselves as "conservators" of a variety of some of natures lesser known species. Many of our family are either "rescued or "re-homed".
We have also been designated as an official "National Wildlife Federation Habitat" by the National Wildlife Federation.
